San Francisco Travel and the Hotel Council of SF Announce Partnership to Host Inaugural Visitor Impact Summit August 17th
The summit will bring together industry leaders to deliver an update on the state of tourism in SFand examine what’s next for the industry
2 August 2023 — San Francisco: For the first time, the San Francisco Travel Association, the official destination marketing organization for the City and County of San Francisco, and the Hotel Council of San Francisco will come together to host the Visitor Impact Summit 2023, a conference that will explore the trends, challenges and opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Taking place on August 17, and presented by Expedia at the Fairmont San Francisco, the summit will feature presentations and breakout sessions led by industry leaders, including executives from San Francisco Travel, the Hotel Council, Visit California and San FranciscoInternational Airport. The event will also feature keynote speaker Chris Larsen, co-founder and Executive Chairman of SF-based fintech company Ripple, to provide insights on improving business travel to the city.
As San Francisco’s tourism industry continues its path to recovery, the summit will provide an update on the industry’s performance, including the latest visitor and economic impact data, as well as examine new strategies and technologies the industry can adapt to enhance the visitor experience.
